Market update 4/29/20 - SPX target 3800

Previous market update here

Before I update  on the market, here was my call on April 15th - SPX @ 4000 by year end. Very much possible but my 1st target is SPX @ 3,800 by October 10th, then SPX 4000 by year end.  

Current market update

VST changed to buy from sell - 

sell signal was at SPX 2736, buy signal generated at SPX 2875; We were in cash, so no worry.

ST - SPX signal is sell; NDX changed from sell to buy

LT (weekly chart) - Sell (old signal, no change)

VLT - Buy (old signal, no change)

Google Inc Q1 2020

Google Inc posted earnings yesterday night. Let us see what our technical signals say.

I wouldn't trade news, so trading VST now is out of question.

ST - Sell (if you have a chance, buy $1200 July 2020 puts at open on 4/29/2020)

Apple Inc

AAPL has 8% weight in the DJI and ~ 5% in the SPX 500 , hence is considered a significant barometer of the market.

LT - Buy, based on weekly chart

VLT - Buy, based on monthly chart

Based on the Dow Jones Index (DJI), market is 

Very short term (VST) frame - Buy (based on hourly)

Short term - Buy (Daily)

Long term - Sell (Weekly)

Very long term - Sell (Monthly)

SPX is better, very long term is still on a Buy signal.

NDX/ COMPQ is the best index out there now. 

Avoid the noise: 

like Trump is pumping the market, The Fed is a scam, Market is bearish, or Bullish. 

I personally don't care what anyone else is doing.

I will follow the market signals, adjust accordingly, use stops to avoid losses and sell partly to lock profits. That is my strategy. I will post when there are new signals.
